Accessibility Statement
Providence AI is committed to making our website usable for everyone, including people who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, or other assistive technologies.
Last updated: June 12, 2026
Our goal
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard widely referenced for accessible websites. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we treat it as part of how we build, not a one-time checkbox.
What we've done
- Semantic HTML structure with a logical heading order on every page.
- Text and background colors tested to meet WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and interface elements).
- Visible keyboard focus indicators on all interactive elements.
- A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen-reader users.
- Descriptive text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative images and video hidden from assistive technology.
- A navigation menu that is reachable and operable on mobile devices and by keyboard.
- Respect for the operating-system "reduce motion" setting, which disables background video and animation.
Known limitations
- Our appointment booking is provided through an embedded third-party scheduler (Cal.com). We have configured it accessibly, but portions of that interface are controlled by the vendor. If you have any trouble booking, you can always reach us directly by email and we will schedule with you personally.
- We are continually testing and improving. Some areas may not yet fully meet every success criterion.
